Welcome to Scenic City Styles!

I started this design concept on paper in 2006 while working at a local furniture store here in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

I'd make appointments with prospective clients, come to their homes and get to know them.  I'd find out what they always wanted, a certain look, a cozy feeling.  I'd draw up a plan and, working with what we sold, I would make a design that would also enhance their lifestyle.  They would come back to me and continue with another room.  And so it went. 

I'd been decorating my friends homes and offices in Los Angeles for years; and with my Set Design/Lighting background, it wasn't long before I got involved with some great people in the furniture business when I first arrived in Chattanooga back in 2002.

I found I really enjoyed helping people find their style.  I wanted to do more. 

    I wanted to offer a complete design platform from picking wall color, flooring, accent rugs, window treatments, lighting design, and choosing fabrics (for the most beautiful furniture available), to picking out all the accessories for that finishing touch. 

   It was so rewarding for me to set my clients at ease, listen to their ideas and develop relationships.

So Scenic City Styles was born.  A design concept to discover and express your style.

  Chattanooga, The Scenic City is no longer the best kept secret in the southeast, but a city reborn and the word is out.  You get the feeling you're at the heart of something big.  With it's burgeoning downtown replete with unique shopping, five star restaurants, a distinctive museum, family friendly outings, and a renown aquarium, Chattanooga follows along the Tennessee river rich in civil war history. It's a beautiful place to live.

It has a changing style.  It's a mix of old and new, a metro feel inside a brick traditional. 

That's why I love it so much.  I tend to design that way.
